What we collect when you call or visit, and what we do with it. The short version: only what we need to do the job, never sold. Effective October 2, 2026.
Who we are
This notice explains how IMD Disinfecting Services handles information from phone calls and visits to this website. Our service office is at 4043 Main St, Bridgeport, and our head office is at 19 Meetinghouse Terrace, New Milford. You can reach us any hour at (203) 405-7199.
Information we collect
When you call us, we collect what you choose to tell us so we can quote and do the job: your name, phone number, the address of the job, details about the space and what happened, and anything you share about pets, children or health concerns that affect the products we use.
This website has no forms and no accounts. Like most websites, our web host may keep standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type, pages visited and the time of the visit, for security and to keep the site running. Our pages do not set advertising or tracking cookies.
Two features connect to Google. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, and the office maps load from Google Maps only when you choose to view a map. When either loads, Google receives standard request information from your browser under its own privacy policy.
How we use it
We use the information you give us to answer your questions, give you a price, schedule and carry out the work, keep records of what was cleaned and with which products, follow up on the job, and meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.
When we share it
We share information only as needed to do the work: with the crew assigned to your job, and with companies that provide services to us, such as phone and scheduling tools, under their own confidentiality terms.
On the rare occasion every crew is booked and your call is passed to another local cleaning provider, that provider receives the details needed to help you, and handles them under its own policies.
We may also share information when the law requires it. We do not sell your personal information.
How long we keep it
We keep job records for as long as we need them to provide the service, answer questions about past work and meet legal and tax requirements, and then delete or anonymize them.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. Call (203) 405-7199 and we will take care of it.
Children
This website is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes to this notice
If we change this notice, we will update the effective date below. This version is effective October 2, 2026.
