IMD Disinfecting Services
Terms of service
The plain-language terms for using this site and booking a job. Effective October 2, 2026.
About these terms
These terms apply to your use of this website and to cleaning and disinfection services you book with IMD Disinfecting Services by phone. If we confirm a specific job with you in writing, the details of that confirmation apply to that job.
Information on this website
The service pages and cleaning tips on this site are general information. They are checked against public guidance from agencies such as CDC, EPA and the Connecticut Department of Public Health, but they are not medical, legal or professional advice for your specific situation. Always follow the directions on any product label you use.
Prices
Price ranges on this website come from published third-party data and are shown as planning ranges, not quotes. Your price is set when you book, based on the space, its condition, the schedule and any extras you ask for.
Booking and scheduling
Bookings are made by phone. Please tell us about access, parking, pets, alarms and anything hazardous in the space. If you need to reschedule or cancel, call as early as you can. We may need to reschedule for severe weather or safety reasons, and we will tell you as soon as we know.
Access, utilities and the space
Please give our crew safe access to the areas to be cleaned and, for most jobs, running water and electricity. Put away valuables and fragile items, and tell us about delicate surfaces or finishes. We spot-test where we are unsure, but some stains, wear and earlier damage cannot be reversed by cleaning, and we will tell you when we see it.
Products and re-entry
We choose products to suit the job and the surfaces, and we use them as their labels direct, including contact times and re-entry times. Tell us about allergies, sensitivities or products you want us to use or avoid.
If every crew is booked
On the rare day every crew is committed, your call may be passed to another local cleaning provider so you are not left waiting. That provider is independent of us, sets its own prices, availability and terms, and is responsible for its own work.
If something is not right
If you are unhappy with any part of a job, call us within a few days. We will look at it with you and put right anything we missed.
Limits
To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses, for damage that existed before our visit, or for items or conditions we were not told about. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under Connecticut law.
Other websites
Links to other websites, including the sources cited in our guides, are provided for reference. We are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms; the version on this page applies from its effective date, currently October 2, 2026. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut.
